Whether you are a long-time online Stud, Stud H/L, or Razz player, or are just picking up the game for the first time, there aren't a lot of third-party software tools at your disposal.  Luckily, there is one powerful software tool, Stud Indicator, which should be able to help you regardless of how experienced you are at any of these games.

Stud Indicator is quick to download and easy to use.  Although you probably won't need it, the software comes with a user manual that is sure to answer any questions you have about how to use it.

The software is compatible with PokerStars, Full Tilt, and PartyPoker.  I personally use it on PokerStars, where the most Stud action occurs online, and couldn't imagine playing these games without Stud Indicator on my side.

If you are just learning Stud, you should consider using the software for its in-game odds calculator.  The odds calculator will show your odds to win for yourself and your opponents, your pot odds, and the odds you or your opponents will hit a certain hand combination on showdown.

To make things easier, the software also will classify your starting hand as Premium, Strong, Good, Medium, or Weak.  There is a similar grouping for Razz, along with a handy point system that can further assist you.

Many experienced players can also benefit from the odds calculator; however, these types of players are more inclined to use Stud Indicator because of its player stats functionality.  As far as we know, Stud Indicator is the only software specifically designed to provide you with detailed information on your opponents and how they play.

Although the stats are rather basic, they provide you with everything you need to know what type of player you are up against.  The information is attached directly to your table while playing in the same box as the odds calculator and includes the player's name, number of hands, voluntarily put money in pot % (VPIP), raise percentage before fourth street (PFR), steal %, aggression factor (AF), went to show down % (WSD), percentage of time the player won when went to showdown, and net winnings.

This information can be displayed in both current session and historical format depending on what you prefer to use.  Personally when first hitting a new table, I start off with historical and after a bunch of hands switch it over to current session.  Many of these key stats are also displayed for the table as a whole, showing you how aggressive or passive the table is playing.

If you aren't a fan of numbers or stats, you should still like this software since it displays profiling icons on your opponents including gambler, tight aggressive, rock, neutral, neutral aggressive, neutral passive, loose neutral, and tight neutral.  There is also a pink mouse for when the software can't place your opponents into one of these categories and a question mark for when there aren't enough hands for a classification to take place.

Considering that Stud Indicator is really the only game in town for online Stud players and how powerful the software is and the price is a bargain.  You can choose a one-year license for $69 or a lifetime license for $149.  Why not check out what you have been missing and try Stud Indicator today?
